Job Description
The Project Manager will be providing leadership and support for managing projects primarily from point of sale to order fulfillment. Essential duties include:
* Provide overall project management by utilizing existing resources and personnel.
* Develop a cohesive team consisting of support staff, draftsmen and engineers to assure efficient resource management, technical proficiency, and innovative problem solving.
* Drive estimate efforts both pre:bid and as required for change orders and other business opportunities.
* Quality Control : Ensure that the work performed directly by Worthington, its subcontractors or vendors is done in accordance with Contract, Plans and Specifications.
* Work closely with clients installation contractor(s) to assure all schedules, supply items, site support services, delivery and quality control are in place before starting an item of work and in accordance with Contract, Plans and Specifications.
* Directly assist in the purchasing of materials, equipment rentals and subcontracts while also managing budgets, costs and expense reports.
* Provide installation oversight for special projects
* Participate and lead weekly project meetings with engineering staff and senior company executives.
Requirements: The top candidates will have at least 5:years of experience in Project Management or On:site Supervision on marine related projects. Experience in Marine construction is very strongly preferred due to the nature of the position. A 4:yr degree is not required but preferred with Project Management or Construction Management being the top majors. Foreign language (Spanish, French, Portuguese) competency would be very helpful and make you more successful in this role. Strong candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to quickly comprehend engineered drawings, plans and specifications, be expert in the use of MS Excel, be well organized and have a can:do approach to work.

Benefits: 2 weeks starting paid vacation time, personal days, 401k and profit sharing, eligible for year:end bonuses. Although Worthington does not offer comprehensive health coverage, an annual Health Insurance allowance can be included in final compensation package.,
