Robin Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of custom molded components and assemblies for the automotive, healthcare, military, truck & trailer, irrigation, mining, off-road construction, agriculture, and many more industries is hiring for the following positions:
SENIOR QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER - HEALTHCARE DIVISION (Berlin, OH)
Reporting to the Division Manager the Sr. Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing internal and external quality control systems and procedures which ensure continuous production of highly-engineered elastomeric components for the healthcare industry, including raw materials, goods in process and finished goods, consistent with established regulatory requirements (FDA), quality certifications (ISO-9001 and ISO-13485), customer specifications, and production goals. Lead, oversee, and direct the entire quality department. Coordinate customer and supplier relations.
Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree in engineering or industrial technology. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality control functions, including but not limited to APQP, PPAP, AIAG core tools (FMEA, Control Plan, etc.). Knowledgeable in ISO and Automotive (ISO/TS 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. FDA 21 CFR 820 would be a plus. Demonstrated hands-on approach to daily challenges. Experience writing procedures, instructions, and 8D-5Why reports, and knowledge of layered audits. Experience training other employees.
QUALITY ENGINEER - HEALTHCARE DIVISION (Berlin, OH)
Reporting to the Senior Quality Control Manager the Quality Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of quality assurance personnel, assist the Quality Manager in all aspects of the Quality Department including in managing and maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, TS16949 standards and FDA 21 CFR 820 regulatory compliance.
Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree in engineering or industrial technology. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality control functions, including but not limited to APQP, PPAP, AIAG core tools (FMEA, Control Plan, etc.). QUOTING ENGINEER - Research and Development Center (Berlin, OH)
Reporting to the Director, Program Management & Prototyping the Quoting Engineer utilizes factory cost estimates to develop and track quotations to the customer. Provide an interface between sales and engineering as needed. Review accuracy of cost estimates and submit to V.P. Sales for pricing, etc. Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to review data for accuracy.
Qualifications: Degree in Engineering. Project engineering and/or cost estimating experience would be beneficial. 3 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution related business. Detail oriented personality and ability to understand manufacturing processes in conjunction with cost estimates are a must. Proficient in using Microsoft products. Ability to evaluate and analyze manufacturing process data to develop quotations for customers. Familiarity with engineering design software. Ability to read blueprints. Valid driver's license.
PROTOTYPE/QUALITY TECHNICIAN - Research and Development Ctr (Berlin, OH)
Reporting to the RDC Quality Supervisor the Prototype/Quality Technician
performs functions to assure dimensional integrity of new and existing elastomeric parts. Maintains a variety of related reports and records to provide to the company's customers. Assists in performing clerical duties, including answering the phones.
Press Operators (2nd and 3rd Shift) (Berlin, Winesburg and Fredericksburg OH locations) Operate molding machines to produce a variety of quality parts to meet customer specifications.
Mold Changer/Cleaner (2nd and 3rd Shift) (Fredericksburg, OH) Performs the removal and installation of molds and accessories. Also, cleans molds as necessary.
