**Position Overview:**
The Director of Customer Experience is a key leader on the Retail leadership team whose primary focus is to create positive impressions and interactions with current and potential customers.
**Primary Responsiblities:**
+ Advance the overall customer experience strategy, design & develop supporting initiatives & lead measurement tools & reporting to evaluate results compared to the business' short and long term objectives.
+ Build loyalty for Goodyear Retail's customer experience by creating programs, metrics, standards and experiences to drive a culture of care, quality and respect for our customers and their vehicle.
+ Continue to research emerging trends and develop measures of success and engagement for the customer experience that aligns to the growth strategy of Retail
+ Collaborate and influence cross functional stakeholders of operations, markeing, human resources, finance, categories and other key teams to execute the customer focused culture and incorporate consumer insights into the decision making process
+ Lead customer experience project management team and support crossi-functional teams and driving enterprise wide objectives. Identify, negotiate and manage relevant vendors and contracts supporting the customer experience
**Critical experiences and knowledge required:**
+ Demonstrated ability to lead people & obtain results through years of business experience with increasing responsibility, including a prior leadership or senior management role.
+ Must have more than 10 years leadership experience in customer experience, retail operations, category or channel leadership.
+ Experience executing objectives with collaboration, influencing skills, team work, analytics & change management. Proven record of conceptual & strategic skills along with a competitive mindset are keys to success.
+ Experience leading & supporting projects with multi-functional teams across all organizational levels
+ High energy with personal courage to make difficult decisions, develop & implement initiatives with effective communication & change management support.
+ Managerial & technical capability to analyze & create solutions to build customer loyalty, design programs & promotions competitive in the marketplace to acquire retail business share & increase profitable sales.
+ Must have a solution oriented approach to capitalize on potential process improvement
