Job Description
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer with the primary day:to:day responsibility of planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial:related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance, and private and institutional financing.

Basic Functions:
Provide leadership in the development for continuous evaluation of short and long:term strategic financial objectives.
Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
Take a hands:on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies, and regulatory action.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation, and reporting to the Company.
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Escalate financial, legal, partnership, and budget issues to the VP/GM as required.
Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
Conduct performance evaluations and mentor those with less experience.
Review relevant publications and online materials to remain up:to:date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
:Experience in strategic planning and execution.
:Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems.
:Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
:Strong organizational and presentation skills.
:Skill in strategic planning, with an ability to think ahead and plan over a 1:3:year time span.
:Skill in planning and preparing written communications.
:Skill in leading people and getting results with a strong customer orientation.
:Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer:care.
:Ability to multi:task and adapt to changes quickly.

Education/Experience Requirements:
:MBA, preferably in finance or accounting
:10 years experience
